Our Sheep
Banbury Lambs are extremely popular and sell out every year. We have a birthing field. In the spring we move all the expectant ewes away from the ‘flerd’.
They give birth outside, in a natural environment. We do not intervene unless absolutely needed. We have over 100 ewes and only had to help with one birth mother.
We attribute the low problems during birth, to our ewes very good physical condition. We believe this is due to being raised in large fields / pastures, never being confined, and a healthy vegetarian diet. When the Banbury lambs reach approximately 30 days, They are reunited with the ‘flerd’ and Banbury’s rotational field program.
